  • Physical and ergonomics
  • Visual impairment

Access to Work (NI) Programme – Assessments

Access to Work (NI) can help people with disabilities who wish to take up employment or who are in work and experience difficulty related to their disability. It can also help employers who wish to recruit or retain people with disabilities in employment.

Private Workplace Assessments

Our workplace assessments identify practical accommodations and adjustments that enable employees with neurodivergent or visual conditions to thrive in their roles and perform their jobs effectively.

Dyslexia Diagnostic Assessments

Access Centre NI offers professional dyslexia diagnostic assessments by a Chartered Practitioner Psychologist, providing clear confirmation of dyslexia and personalised guidance to support your learning or workplace needs.

Display Screen Equipment Assessments (DSE)

A DSE Workplace Assessment helps an employee work comfortably and safely at their workstation. It’s a health and safety review of their workstation to identify possible risks.

Disabled Students Allowance (DSA)

DSA is an additional funding to help students with extra essential costs as a direct result of a disability. This can include a long-term health condition, mental-health condition, physical disability or specific learning difficulty such as dyslexia or dyspraxia.

Workplace Strategy Coaching

AC-NI’s Workplace Strategy Coaching offers one-to-one coaching sessions that help employees build practical strategies to manage tasks, stay organised and work confidently.

Assistive Technology Training

ACNI provide training on a wide range of assistive and adaptive technologies. This enables employees to access the benefits of assistive technology, effectively applying it to their job role and improving independence.
