Private Workplace Assessments

Overview

Access Centre NI (AC-NI) provides high-quality, professional workplace assessments for neurodivergent employees, including individuals with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia and related conditions, as well as employees who are blind or visually impaired. Our service is designed to support both employees and employers in creating inclusive, accessible, and effective working environments.

Our assessments focus on the practical demands of an individual’s current role and the specific challenges they may experience in the workplace. We identify clear, realistic and cost-effective reasonable adjustments that support productivity, communication, confidence and overall wellbeing. At the same time, our recommendations assist employers in meeting their equality, inclusion and duty of care responsibilities.

The assessment is tailored to the individual, taking into account their job role, working and organisational environment and existing support arrangements. Recommendations may include adjustments, assistive technology software, environmental adaptations and strategies to support communication, organisation and workload management.

AC-NI offers both remote and face-to-face workplace assessments, depending on the needs of the employee and the nature of their role. All assessments are carried out by skilled and experienced assessors who work collaboratively with employees and employers to gain a thorough understanding of job roles. Our approach is supportive, confidential and solution-focused, ensuring outcomes that are practical and sustainable for all parties.
